Q. Employer Account: How do I establish an Employer Account with
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. Click on "Employers" and complete the Employer Registration Information template, then press "Register." Immediately thereafter you can log in using your username and password to start entering your job posting(s) and/or purchase job postings and plans.
Q. Logos. Can I upload a logo?
A. You can upload a logo in your employer account that will show up with your job postings. Only use GIF files.
Q. Job listing. How do I post a job opening on
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. On the homepage click "My Account" and log in. You will then be brought to a page where you can see the different pricing options. Click "Post Jobs" at the top of the page and you will now be able to create a job posting.
Q. Cost. How much do employers pay to use
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. Carolina Healthcare Jobs charges employers a fee for each job listing/advertisement. Just click on the link "Employers" then "Pricing" for details. Or click here:

Q. Job listing. Can I enter multiple job openings in a single job listing?
A. A single job listing may include multiple job openings, but you are limited to selecting one Job Type, which job seekers select to find your posting.
Q. Job listing. How do I enter more than one job listing?
A. After you log in you will click "Post Jobs" to create another job listing.
Q. Job listing. How long will it be before applicants can see my job listing(s)?
A. Our editors will review your job posting and normally the job posting is visible for job seekers/applicants within 24 hours.
Q. Out-of-state job postings. Can I post jobs if I am looking for applicants for jobs outside of the Carolinas?
A: Yes. Any employer/search firm trying to reach applicants residing in the Carolinas (but maybe interested in relocating or traveling to other locations) can post job openings on
Carolina Healthcare Jobs.
Q. Job listing. How long is a job listing posted on
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. You can select to have your job listing(s) posted for up to three full months.
Or job postings with a fixed application deadline: our editors will code the ad to expire on that specific date.
Job postings without a fixed application deadline: the ad will expire after 3 months.
You can delete job listings at any time by returning to your employer account.
Q. Three-month job postings. What are the advantages of posting for up to three months?
A. Three-month job listings are especially attractive to maximize the number of highly qualified and diverse applicants, when recruiting in disciplines with tight job markets, when posting multiple jobs within a job listing, or gearing up early to recruit at professional meetings.
Q. E-mail alerts. Why are e-mail alerts to job seekers so great and is there an extra fee?
A. The e-mail alert feature is extremely beneficial as it brings your job listing to the applicant's attention and gives you broad exposure. After applicants establish their profile, our push-technology automatically matches their profile with your job(s). Applicants are then personally notified via e-mail alerting them of your matching job posting. E-mail alerts are currently automatically and free of charge included with each job posting.
Q. What is the featured employer and is there an extra cost to be the featured employer?
A. On a rotation basis all employers will appear on the front page of
Carolina Healthcare Jobs, and it will list all job openings posted by that employer. This ensures maximum exposure and traffic to the employer's posting(s). There is no additional cost to be the featured employer; it automatically rotates every time the site is refreshed.
Q. Resume database. How can we access the resume database and is there an extra fee?
A. Employers can enter the resume database through their Employer Account. You will be able to see resumes of applicants matching the job categories of your job listings. The number of resumes varies significantly per discipline. Applicants in disciplines with tighter job markets and applicants trying to keep their job search confidential prefer to sign up for the e-mail alerts over publishing their resume in a public database. There is currently no extra charge to access the resume database.
Q. Payment. How do I pay for the fee of our job opening?
A. Payment can be done through check, money order, or credit card. After posting the job listing you will be given the option to select from different options, either Use my plan or Send me the invoice. If you already contacted us about purchasing a plan, and did so, select the Use my plan option, if not select Send me the invoice, and after you post your listing(s) we will invoice you.
Q. Volume Plans. Can we obtain larger volume or an unlimited annual plan at lower rates for our organization?
A. Yes.
Carolina Healthcare Jobs does offer Frequency Job Postings plans and unlimited job postings annual plans to organizations posting over ten job openings per year. Please contact info@CarolinaHealthcareJobs.com and include the anticipated number of job listings during a 12-month period.
Q. Employer Account. How do I make changes in my Employer Account?
A. Click "My Account" and log in to your account. You can then make the necessary changes in the existing information.
Q. Changing information in the Job posting. How do I change the information in our job listing?
A. Employers can make changes to their job listings at any time. After logging in to your account you will be brought to a page where you will see "Listed Jobs" under that you can edit your current job postings.
Q. Deleting the Job posting. How do we delete our current job opening from
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. Job listings will be automatically removed from
Carolina Healthcare Jobs after either the one-month or three-month time period you selected or the application deadline included in the job posting, whichever comes first.
To delete earlier, just enter your Employer Account, and on the "My Account" scroll down to "Listed Jobs" and you can delete a current job posting. Attention: If you hit delete this will automatically and permanently delete your job posting.
Q. How do I get a copy of the job posting/advertisement I entered?
A. Return to the home page of
Carolina Healthcare Jobs and use the Job Search function (no need to register as an applicant.) Print out the job posting as it appears to applicants.
Important: Job listings self-destruct on the expiration date of the job listing. Thereafter we can no longer provide you with a hard copy. So please print a copy as soon as the job has been released for applicants to see.
Q. I am a university/college and have a faculty job, teaching job, or administrative job opening. What else can you do for me?
A. In addition to posting the jobs on
Carolina Healthcare Jobs, to reach applicants beyond the Carolinas you can also post your job opening(s) on
Academic Careers Online at
www.AcademicCareers.com.

A. On one of the search pages, enter the specifics of the job you are trying to find such as location and job type (=job category). Then click search to display all the jobs matching your criteria.
Q. Cost. Do Job Seekers have to pay to use
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. No. All
Carolina Healthcare Jobs job seeker services are free of charge. You can search jobs, request e-mail alerts and/or post your resume.
Q. Registrations. Do I have to register to use
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. There is no need to register to search the database for job openings. However, to maximize the success of your search it is recommended you also use the e-mail alert notification system and/or post your resume, which require registration.
Q. Registrations. How do I register as a Job Seeker?
A. Job Seekers must register to submit resumes and cover letters and to establish a profile to receive e-mail notifications. Just click on the link
Register as a Job Seeker or just Register at the top of the page to get started. Remember your Username and password, so that you can return at any time and make changes, too.
Q. Registrations. Do I have to enter private information?
A. You can enter as much or as little information as you like. However, NEVER enter or provide information such as social security number, banking information, passwords, your family or similar type of private information. Even if an employer contacts you directly or asks you to go to a web site which asks for this information, remember they do not need this information to review your credentials, so do not provide it.
Q. Resume. How do I post my resume on
Carolina Healthcare Jobs?
A. After you have registered, you can submit your resume. Simply Log-in and click the button at the top titled Post Resumes. There you can create and store up to three resumes and cover letters.
Q. What is included when I sign up as a Job Seeker?
A. As a Job Seeker you receive free job seeker e-mail notifications. You can also create and store up to three resumes and cover letters in your account. You can apply to job openings by submitting your resume and cover letter online.
Q. Job Seeker e-mail notifications. How do I get notified of job openings meeting my characteristics?
A. After you establish your profile, our Smart Agent automatically matches your profile with jobs that are entered into the database by employers. You are automatically notified via e-mail when a match occurs. Please add
info@CarolinaHealthcareJobs.com to your address book and safe list to ensure you receive the messages.
Q. Job Seeker accounts. How do I change my profile, e-mail address or resume?
A. After you have registered, you can use your Username and password at any time to make changes. Just click on the link My Account, then Log in and make your changes. Do not forget to click the Submit button when done making changes.
Q. I am looking for a university/college faculty job, teaching job, or administrative job opening. What else can you do for me?
